A Time For Comparison

Some sides are balanced more equally than others ...
I can feel something in my head, swirling about the emptiness inside. Is it a thought? I'm not sure, but I think I'd probably recognise the taste. No, it's something more than that, something rarer. I think, no I know, it's an epiphany! I'm sure of it! I should write it down really, they come around so infrequently, but it's late and I can't be bothered. I'll just force Mini Dan to remember it, I don't care how much he moans.
My thoughts after my epiphany. As you can tell it's a complicated process inside my skull.

Eviscerators and 'New Shaltari' are here!

Well looky looky what we have here then. They are not released until the 27th but Hawk have deemed us worthy of their new rules early.

I'll give a quick overview and my initial thoughts on the units. I think it will be a bit of the good, the bad and the ugly. I'll bet you can't guess which is which!

UK Games Expo - Burningham was so close yet so far

Well, it's been a couple of weeks now. I think I have finally fully recovered from Burningham.
A ham, that's burning..........get it?

I think it is as close to an American Con as you will get in the UK (or as close as I imagine, as I have never been across the day).

The UK games expo was utterly mad, around 15,000 gamers attended over the course of the weekend.
Team OB set off around 7am on Friday morning and after a stop-off for breakfast we arrived in a considerable downpour.......welcome to Birmingham.

Taking Host In Burningham

New Burningham, ready for razing
It’s been a while boys n' gals of the DzC community! After the busyness of the last few months, I decided to take a sabbatical from games in general for a couple of weeks, a time to refresh you might say. In fact, I would say. Because I did. So yeh.

Anyway, the expo. Wow. It was just buckets of awesome. Maybe around thirty, to thirty one buckets worth of sludgy, liquid awesomeness (that’s a lot of awesomeness for those of you un-familiar with awesomeness measurement). It was very literally everything it was billed to be; two and a half solid days of gaming!

Reach Out and Touch Base

Hawk have delivered unto us the first of the new sets of infantry. From the Ivory tower of that wonderful place to have an HQ, Croydon.

Check them out, I've also come up with some thoughts of my own.
